eMerge leaders Alison Grounds and Jason Lichter will speak on the panel, “In the Cloud and On the Ground: Lessons from a Successful Integration of People, Process, Technology, and Culture,” during Relativity Fest.

While we all navigated the massive personal, professional, and societal reverberations of the COVID-19 crisis this past year, different members of the legal technology community confronted unique complications.

In this session, Alison and Jason will share what they learned from the (virtual) trenches in the months leading up to the Troutman Sanders/Pepper Hamilton merger, how that planning paid dividends in achieving a smooth integration in the months that followed, the challenges they encountered along the way, and strategies for applying many of the same techniques to improve team dynamics during far more mundane, less cataclysmic periods. They will discuss how they leveraged the merger to revisit entrenched practices, consolidate disparate systems, and double down on RelativityOne (migrating over 50 TB of data from a legacy Relativity Server instance) across the combined organization.
